Ďáblice district is situated on the northern periphery of the city of Prague. In
the north it borders on Březiněves, in the east on Třeboradice, Čakovice and
Letňany, in the south on Střížkov and Kobylisy and in the west on Dolní Chabry.
It is one of the smaller Prague quarters. 2 477 inhabitants live on an area of
738 ha. The majority of them live in family houses from the older housing
development, but also from completely new housing development built in the
1990’s. On the territory of Ďáblice, you can find several Prague peculiarities
such as for example, Ládví mountain that is with its 359 a.s.l. the highest
place in Prague or
Ďáblice observatory.
Not far from the planned residential construction, there are remains of the
first steam powered brickworks so-called Battist´s brickworks with a chimney
that will be as a technical monument reconstructed into a pizzeria. The ideal
place for sports and relaxation is the forest complex Ládví (so-called Ďáblický
háj-Ďáblice grove) in the close vicinity.
And the nearby
aqua park Lagoon will surely be welcomed not only by families with
children.
More information about Ďáblice and its surroundings you can find
